A three-letter International Air Transport Association code identifying an airport (e.g. LHR for London Heathrow).
An IATA code is a three-letter identifier assigned by the International Air Transport Association to airports, airlines, and aircraft. Airport IATA codes (e.g. LHR, JFK, DXB) are the codes printed on boarding passes and used in flight booking systems.
