Airport Meet & Greet Services Explained

Personal assistance from arrival to gate — what meet & greet is, how it works, who benefits most, and what different service tiers include.

What Is Airport Meet & Greet?

Meet & greet is a premium airport service where a personal assistant meets you at the airport and guides you through every step of the airport process — from arrival at the terminal to boarding your flight, or from landing to your ground transport.

Unlike FastTrack security (where you walk through a priority lane on your own), meet & greet provides hands-on, one-to-one assistance throughout your entire airport journey. Your assistant handles the logistics so you can focus on your trip.

How Meet & Greet Works — Step by Step

Departure

  1. Book in advance — Reserve your meet & greet service through our partner providers (typically 48–72 hours before your flight).
  2. Arrival at the airport — Your personal assistant meets you at a designated meeting point (terminal entrance, drop-off area, or car park). They'll usually hold a name board.
  3. Check-in assistance — Your assistant helps with airline check-in, baggage drop, and boarding pass collection.
  4. Security & immigration — You're guided through security screening (often via a priority lane) and, where applicable, through passport control.
  5. Escort to gate/lounge — Your assistant walks you to your departure gate or to the airport lounge if included in your package.

Arrival

  1. Disembarkation — Your assistant meets you at the aircraft door (VIP) or at the gate area.
  2. Immigration — Guided through passport control, often via fast-track or diplomatic lanes.
  3. Baggage collection — Your assistant waits with you or collects your bags.
  4. Ground transport — Escorted to your taxi, car service, or hotel shuttle.

Who Benefits from Meet & Greet?

  • Elderly travellers — Physical assistance with luggage, walking, and navigating the terminal. Peace of mind for families.
  • Families with young children — Extra hands to manage bags, buggies, and kids in a busy airport. Priority lane access reduces stress.
  • Business travellers — Maximise productive time by removing all airport navigation overhead. Arrive at the gate with zero friction.
  • Passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility (PRM) — Wheelchair assistance, accessible routes, and dedicated support throughout. Many airports offer free PRM services, but meet & greet provides a more personal, flexible experience.
  • Unaccompanied minors — Dedicated supervision for children travelling alone, from check-in to handoff at the destination.
  • First-time international travellers — Guidance through unfamiliar immigration and customs processes, especially valuable at large hub airports.
  • Anxious flyers — A calm, supportive presence throughout the airport process reduces pre-flight stress.
  • VIP / celebrity travellers — Discretion, privacy, and expedited processing through exclusive channels.
