First Time Using Fast Track?

Everything you need to know before your first Fast Track experience, step by step.

What Is Fast Track, Exactly?

Fast Track is a paid priority lane at airport security. Instead of joining the main queue (which can be very long, especially during peak times), you use a separate, dedicated lane that's typically much shorter. The security screening itself is exactly the same — you still go through the scanners and have your bags checked. The difference is simply that you queue for less time.

Step-by-Step: Your First Fast Track Experience

Before You Go

  1. Book your pass online — Search for your airport and purchase through our comparison engine
  2. Receive your digital pass — You'll get an instant confirmation via email with a QR code or barcode
  3. Save it — Add the pass to your Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, or simply take a screenshot

At the Airport

  1. Follow signs for Fast Track / Priority Security — Look for signs saying "Fast Track", "Priority Lane", or "Express Security"
  2. Show your pass — Present your QR code/barcode to the staff at the Fast Track entrance. They'll scan it.
  3. Join the priority lane — You'll be directed into the shorter Fast Track queue
  4. Go through security as normal — Place bags on the belt, walk through the scanner. Same process, shorter wait.
  5. Done! — Proceed to the departure area. The whole process typically takes under 5 minutes.

Common Questions

Do I still need to take out liquids?

Yes. The same security rules apply — 100ml liquid limit, electronics out of bags (unless your airport has CT scanners). Fast Track is about the queue, not the screening rules.

What if I can't find the Fast Track lane?

Ask any airport staff member — they'll direct you. Fast Track lanes are usually clearly signposted near the main security entrance.

Can I use it at any time?

Your pass is typically valid for the entire day of travel. Arrive whenever suits your flight.

What if I don't use it?

Most providers offer a money-back guarantee on unused passes. Check the specific terms when booking.
