ICAO Code

A four-letter International Civil Aviation Organization code identifying an airport for air-traffic-control purposes.

An ICAO code is a four-letter identifier assigned by the International Civil Aviation Organization to airports for air-traffic control, flight planning, and operational use. ICAO codes are stricter and more granular than IATA codes (e.g. EGLL for London Heathrow).
