TSA PreCheck speeds up US departures security. Global Entry speeds up US arrivals immigration AND includes TSA PreCheck. For most international travellers, Global Entry is the better deal.
Verdict
If you only fly domestically in the US, TSA PreCheck is enough. If you ever return to the US from abroad, Global Entry costs a little more and includes everything PreCheck does plus expedited US arrival.
